I rented Turok & played it for less than 15 minutes b4 i ran it back to Blockbuster. I feel sorry for anyone who paid for this crappy game.

I disagree. It may not "work" but it will send a msg to EA. All we "hardcore" gamers have to do is msg all of our friends & support articles like this, & dont buy the game. Every copy that doesnt sell WILL HURT.
I quit buying Madden every year along time ago even though I'm a big football fan. Every copy that is not sold will hurt EA. Also, if they had any sense, they should be trying to get away from this kind of shady business practises they have ...

Yes, I traditionally had to upgrade my ram, my video card,or something about every 6 months when I was an avid pc gamer & wanted to be on the cutting edge & run the newest games.
This is just one person's opinion, it's not gospel, I said pc gaming was over...
Single player is pretty much the same. Six axis control of the glaive (aftertouch) is much harder than the analog stick of the 360. The PS3 has less MP modes than 360, all from an article I read acouple weeks ago.
Yep. My friends that are at home playing xbl right now, i sent msg's to so they could check it out. 4 out of 5 ppl have responded & they don't like it either.
Pretty harsh. I cant believe it's that bad based on other reviews I've read. However, I'll play it tonite after work & make my own opinion.
I dont like the update. It is more efficient, they basically condensed 3 different pages into one... but now you cant see your last 10 games at a glance, all the game icons are gone too. Instead of my friends list being on one page, now it's on 3 pages (?). The recently played games list now auto-scrolls, don't like that either.
So, it is more efficient perhaps, but not nearly as cool to look at anymore, and the friends list now on multiple pages absolutely sux, IMHO.

I abandoned pc gaming a few years ago because of $$$... I got sick of spending all that cash upgrading & 6 months later, having to do it again. PC gaming is not cost effective.
Now that I have 2 HD consoles connected to my HDTV with wireless controllers, pc gaming is over for me.
